Week 3...Orange Crush
Scrap about what you have/had a crush on. I took crush literally and scrapped these pics from Valentine's day. We had to use this hideous orange felt. The only paper I had to match was from Halloween. So, I punched out some flowers; I tried to make it not look like Halloween. We also had to use those washer rivets. I have to admit it was fun to bust out the rivet setters and bang on something! Thank you dictionary.com for your inspiration!

Explore
Here is what I did this weekend. Another layout for the Hawaii book. I used that crazy paper packet. Since it was Sunday and I didn't buy cardstock to match yet, I had to get creative. I used the scenic route rub ons...they will come in handy. I see we used the same flowers from quickutz this weekend...it was almost like we were together :o)

The other one
Presenting the new....
Studio 8 paper! I can't wait until you can put some up. Thanks for all the scraplifting help! I scrapped this weekend with my mom and sister and so I thought I would work on Studio 8 gallery layouts with the newest paper from them. Boy do I love it. The first three layouts are with the Blooming Collection and the last is from Daydream. Don't worry though I am saving the star papers all for you!

Designers Challenge
I am doing a Designer's Challenge for the scrapbook store near me. Each week they give you a packet of supplies you have to use and a theme to follow.
Week one was a white sheet of cardstock, blue pen, acrylic photo corners and a journal box to fill in questions about my favorite things. Well, the journal box was like 6x6 and my lo was 9x9 so I cut apart the journal box and glued it pretty much all over the place. The LO was lacking in a neutral color, so I used my handy crayon to color the white cardstock. It ended up being a pretty cool texture, even if it does look like a mess. I am not too happy about how it turned out, but it is done and I got my first point.
Week two was all about red and love songs. We had to use this red glitter glue. I was a little nervous at first, but then decided to copy Making Memories glitter chipboard and colored in my letters with the glitter glue. I have to say it looks pretty fabulous! I am quite proud of this LO.

Same Pictures 2 Layouts
Here are the two LOs I did from our winter day trip to Tahoe National Forest. One is for Carter's book and one is for my book. Why is Basic Grey so hard to scrapbook with? It is almost like they need their own solid cardstock because Bazzill just doesn't quite match right. Both LOs are my own design...I am getting better at that.
I glittered the snowman chipboard cut out...turned out cute
The background is KI Winter Wonderland from the 10 cent sale. I bought it because the back is cream, but the winter wonderland brownish gray actually matched my paper.

Christmas
Look familiar? I finally put together the page packet my sister in law designed. I had to do some changes though...needed more picture space and a place to journal. I thought the little squares looked like presents. So, I decided to give them bows. It probably looks dumb, but it makes me laugh.
and...THIS IS THE LAST CHRISTMAS LAYOUT I AM DOING UNTIL NEXT YEAR!!!!!!
Dec. 25th
OK now I am really sick of this Scenic Christmas Paper. I am so glad that this is my last LO using it! I designed this LO on my own. Yeah me! The word strip says "merry christmas to all and to all a good night"
