Productive sunday mornings

I lifted this layout from jenn, and funny thing is when i went to buy "snow" paper, i ended up buying the same paper jenn used without even really realizing it!

this was a birthday girl kit from pebbles that I tweaked just a little to git with my pictures and title

Look at me go

So these are the layouts I have worked on the last week. Impressive huh? 4 in one week is pretty good for me and I was happy to get them done.

This layout was used with new Bo Bunny paper I bought this last weekend that I had to have after working at my store for a few hours and watched other people buy! I think it's the perfect girl paper. I used my nesting tags to cut out the tags which I think turned out pretty cute. I used my new font Zoe that I bought at the QuicKutz sale on Fri for $10. nice huh? I love this heart too, don't you?

I loved this picture of Maddie sleeping on her tummy so I had to scrap it. Used old Scenic Route paper and used two of your cool tricks that you taught me, know what they are? I used my font Ginger and lemonade. Oh and the frame came in the Jolly font that I got at Christmas. Pretty simple LO.
Studio 8 Paper of course since it matched Sammy's dress perfectly. Look how long her piggytails are! I used an AC thicker for the i, then love was a complete Quickutz word, and YOU was the chicago font which I am really addicted to these days. A few buttons and the LO is complete! I know I am going totally simple these days but hey I get more done!

Jake doesn't like these pictures of Maddie because he says she looks handicapped, I think they are cute anyways. Plus, she was only 2 mo. old in these pics. I used old Scenic pp again, my 12 inch bead border which I cut up (I thought I was pretty clever) and Chicago and Uptown girl fonts are used, along with my cool journaling stamp (thanks!).

Sunday night scrap

So I scrapped for an hour after the kids went to bed...heavenly. Sometimes I forget how nice it is even to just have one hour to myself to do something I enjoy, and scrapping is definitely something enjoyable these days and kinda relaxing too. I decided I am focusing on Maddie for the next few scraps because her baby book is pretty pathetic (only 2 layouts so far). Anyhow, I found some baby american crafts paper that I liked and is used on this LO. I also used ribbon, katie, chicago, and metro unicase fonts, oh and some foam cutouts from AC too. I didn't do anything unusual or exciting to this LO, but I think it turned out cute.

werkn' gurls

Yup, Jenn and I are working girls these days...designing samples for Studio 8 and Being Quickutz designers has been keeping us pretty busy. We will keep you posted when and where you can view our most recent work.

I have been commissioned by my mom to do some scrapbook pages for her. It works out great. She get to have beautifully handmade scrapbooks...and I get paid for what I love doing most...designing scrapbook pages. A lot of the pages will be copies of ones I have already done...but some...like this one...will be "MJ originals"

PP: Scribble Scrabble (yellow woodgrain), Karen Foster (trees) Sassafrass Lass (green yarn, green grid and blue and green floral design) and My Minds Eye (red snowflake). Chipboard: Scenic Route. Letters: thickers by American Crafts.

I used up a lot of scraps this weekend. I love how many LOs I can get from the same papers! Jake the amazing made the train die cut.

Don't worry, I still have pictures to scrap this weekend!

I love the Sketch This blog. I got this idea from there. Same paper as before (paper loft) and some Scenic Route scraps. Buttons and brads and a new pinstriped border. Look at me go!

Go Green!

This is a LO we used at Thanksgiving. I did this. You did one of Maddie's Birthday I think. I had a lot of pictures from Build-A-Bear and I thought this LO was perfect. These days I am not against re-using lay outs! The paper is from The Paper Loft and I still have a ton left! I added buttons and brads from my stash. One of these days I will need to invest in a 12x12 printer.
