I am now famous too

Oh and two of my LO got posted on the idea gallery. Cool huh? So I got some free downloads for the silhouette, too bad I get them free already. Want them? (This means you need a silhouette which I highly recommend).

http://www.quickutz.com/qk2/ideas/ideas.aspx?t1=t

They are pretty dress and silly hat. Hopefully you still see them on the first page!

Today..simple and sweet

So this was short and sweet...in between Maddie crying..laundry...studio 8 stuff...cleaning....and playing games with Sammy! I used the cool label on my silhouette, which I think is the same label you just bought! I love it! I also used metro classic and unicase and katie lowercase..oh and photo corners on the silhouette.

experiment gone wrong?

this started out as a simple lift from liz Karch. from the Jan CK...but then things went wrong, and i tried to fix them, then things got a little out of control. so it is a kind of shabby meets antique. annadddnnddd i even sewed..one my page...i know...who do i think i am?

Here is mine

So i worked on this tonight after the girls went to bed and Jake too! (he wasn't feeling good, poor guy) I am also going to submit this to QuicKutz silhouette team. Look at me go. I used old scenic route paper on this LO and used a sketch from CK March magazine that I copied from at work. The flowers were done on my silhouette and I love em'.

2 double LO weekend, and a bonus

Used more Laundry Line. Probably only enough left for some cards. Remember those days when we bought new paper for each LO? Both LOs were from January CK. Copy as you will for work. They were both very easy and didn't require a ton of product.

(this one would probably look better with the same pattern paper on both sides, but I didn't have enough)

here is your bonus...the St. Patty's Day bookmark for my mom's friend at work. Leslie has been having me make these for her to give out to the ladies that volunteer in the library. She thinks they are better than chocolate? Crazy lady.

Shireece Jenne!!!
Here is her comment:

A favorite layout is almost impossible to choose. I started going through them and liked so many that it would take too long to list! However, I choose a handfull of favorites from both Maegan and Jenn. Here they are in no particular order:

Maegan
Circus Circus Aug. 5, 08
Been Busy - Playground Mar. 14, 08
Designers Challenge Mar. 11, 08
Be Mine Feb. 29, 08

Jenn
Love Jan. 30, 09
Scrapbook Expo Sept. 23, 08
Chalk Buddies Sept. 12, 08

Does this LO look familiar?

So I started scrappin again today! Go me! I have also been working on making curtains for our family room and that has been taking up a lot of time, well the little time that I have. Anyhow, thanks for the scraplift. I used random scraps that i had, but the nesting hearts are with the silhouette and which I also submitted to the design team today so we will see if it's good enough. What have you been up to?

150 POSTS!!!

I just noticed that we have hit 150 posts. To celebrate we are having our very fist give-away (mostly to bring all of you lurkers out who never comment). So here is the deal. I will put together a little RAK (random act of kindness) and you leave a comment telling us what your favorite LO was over the last 150 posts or one that you actually lifted (remember lifting LOs is totally acceptable it is NOT cheating!). I will pick a winner at random next Wednesday (Feb.11th).

Thanks for looking and Good luck!

I feel like such a dirty cheater!
This LO took all of 12 minutes, start to finish.
Why?
the LO I lifted from Page Maps (Jan 08 it was still on my desk from the ice skating LO)
the paper was a scrap...i only had to trim one side
the letters I punched out from the SR die cut letters (still on my desk from xmas LOs)
i didn't even have to punch out the scallop...still have some bazzill "just edges" and they happened to match!
the hardest part was locating my stamp for the "journaling" which is minimal cuz I did a 4x6 sheet protector with the rest of the pics.

At Least We Were Together?

Could I have picked an even lamer title? (is Lamer even a word?) That was the hardest part of this LO...coming up with the title. Some time I just want to punch out "insert Title here"

I used a Scenic Route background paper...they are my fav. My Minds Eye new Laundry line...kind of nice to add a little sparkle to C's pages! And Bazzill. My title is made up of Thickers (which are not as forgiving as you might think...before you go over a photo...make sure you want it there!) and the new Making Memories Tiny Alphas which I also just love. Which that little red bracket was a little thicker. But I didn't have one, and I was too lazy to punch one out. So there you go...that is what I did during C's very short nap.

Sun Sand & ICE skating?

I haven't done a two-pager in forever! Thanks for the lift! I was a little worried mixing cream and white, but I think it turned out ok! I think it is great that A: we both scrapped winter related activities today and B: we used the same rick rack on this LO!

Paper and some stickers from Scenic Route
Other stickers are Doodle Bug
And good ole' blossom (but I wanted to use Diesel so ICE would be bolder)

Having cousins is great

and I wish you were closer! So I am watching Tay today and tonight, and the last two hours they have been playing together so well that I even got to do a layout. Man, the playroom will be great because they are already playing in there with not much! But that's not to say that the house is not in ruins, but definitely worth the time to scrap (Maddie was snoozing if you were wondering). This was really easy though because it's for work. Pebbles paper and stickers and then just ribbon. I know not that hard but I think the layering of paper turned out pretty good. Sorry my pictures stink, Jake takes them way better than me but he is pretty busy these days!

Scenic Route

On a whim I submitted a LO to the January Product Challenge. I was so happy to wake up to this!

You can see it here...

Two ToDay!

The little one took a very long nap. ( I also got our dinner in the crock pot). He is only watching Sesame Street so I can do this post! (he woke up really sad and only wanted juice and a show, crazy boy)

This one I kind of copied from you, but I didn't have as many pictures. I did a 4x6 sheet protector with the rest of the pictures.

This one I did on my own! I know it looks like my sticker sheet threw up on the page, but this is the last LO with the Christmas paper, so I wanted to use up the stickers and chipboard punch outs since I don't have much paper left. I also did a 4x6 sheet protector for the other side of this page.
