head on over to Green Tangerines!
i have to admit i had a love/hate relationship with this kit. don't get me wrong...loved the papers and alphas, and the cardstock, even the cute flowers, but hated that it was the exact colors of baby J's first year album. I seriously never want to look at lime, aqua and brown again. (well maybe until I forget all the work that went into creating a million baby LOs)

Testing 123
moving my way along
I finished two cities and one country tonight! (i was actually really proud of myself, i have three hours while jesse is at practice coaching to myself, i did the dishes, three homework assignments and three layouts!) Just have to say, love the pebbles pages. i was sort of forced to use them because i ran out of american craft pages for my binder! anyway so the lighting in my house was horrible so you get a blurry image of it with no glare, and a crisp image with glare! enjoy

feb kit
(this was based on the sketch that is always included in the kit)
now that the kits have been sent off i can release my projects! due to CHA and some unforeseen busyness my projects did not make it onto the Green Tangerines Kit Club Blog. So you get an exclusive look! My favorite part of this kit were all of the vintage embellishments. I love it when old meets new. Oh and I loved brown, green and blue with a touch of something warm like yellow or red. And the star gems. I wish I had more...they would have been on every page! enjoy!

Finally!!!
These pages are from a month ago and so yes, Lera beat me in every way!! She got more done than me and she got them posted way faster than me. I can't even blame it on being endlessly sick because so has she!! I would go into detail....but my kids are already needing me and I don't think I can even remember where they all came from now. Most though were actually from the last month or two of Creating Keepsakes.

Scrap Happy Thursdays
One of my New Years resolutions was to make scrapbooking more of a priority. I made the goal to scrapbook every Thursday during the boys' nap. The past two Thursdays, I had every reason not to follow through with this, i.e. sickness, the boys not taking a full nap, a messy home and many, many other things to do. But, I did it! I figured if I didn't stick to it the first couple times, there's no way I would keep it up. Here are the fruits of my labor.
ROAR! ROAR! - my own design. I used Jenn's cute dino paper, and if you notice this layout is all pattern paper except for the "shadow" from my dinosaur bites and the strips I journaled on. What happened to me being a solid cardstock girl?
At Five Months Old - lifted from January 2011 CK. I used a flower print on a boy page. I was in a crazy, liberal mood. ;) The swirls on the bottom right are freehanded.
