Thanks for this scraplift too! I also found these pics that needed scrappin. This paper is from Fancy Pants! I used Metro and little Metro, buttons, and quickutz stars. Loved the journaling idea too-thanks! Like how I used some glitter-thought I would try it out.

xmas moo-lah
yeah...I am just lucky that way.
Check out my new stamps...hounds tooth (one word or two?) and wood grain. Its a hounds tooth and wood grain revolution over here in Roseville... Kinsey says "its all the buzz" so we all follow.
What do you think about my flash back to the glory days (a little bit of heart embossed vellum to spice things up).
Only 7 hours later
So this layout only took me about 7 hours...not bad eh? Okay, so entirely too long for just a two page layout, even for us, but the title was kind of intense and the two kids were nagging at me an awful lot. Anyhow, I used some of my new American Crafts paper (which I have a huge abundance of now) and a variety of fonts of stamps. I pretty much copied Maegen's title because it was so cute, and even used some paint to make the letters stand out. I found these pictures in my tote waiting to be scrapped so I thought I better get to it before I forget I have them again!

I Heat Pie
I am in love with One Page Layouts. They are so much faster, and less stress! This one you could even do for your work. It was that easy. 1 3/4x9 inch strip, 1 1 x 8 inch strip. 3 7 1/2 by 2 1/2 strips. Ink edges. Back your photos (3x3) and Journal on a journaling card, or print like I did... 4x4 with top edge torn.

Crazy Title
So I did this LO for two things. First was a challenge at Green T. We had to try something new. That title says it all. Second was a contest for Dymo labels. I know I won't win, but it was easy to enter.
**edit to add: I got my treat from Green T...a pad of bazzill with lots of fun colors and some bazzill paper flower..fun. And I was posted to their blog! Hurray for me!

2 LO Weekend.
I was able to get two LOs done this weekend. I have a good husband :o)
This one was random scraps! I saw the LO in Nov. CK. I didn't really have paper for these pictures so I used what I had. I needed a break from Halloween. But the title really gave me trouble. The pack of thickers only came with 2 "g"s so I had to make my own. I hope they go with the whole mix matched feel of this LO.
This one was my lift of Jenn's Slip N Slide LO from a while ago. I used the same paper I have been using all week. I am almost finished with it.

Ona Roll Again
I just love it when a LO is easy! This one only took 30 minutes (and I did most of it on the phone)! I used a sheet of the new KI sheer delights. Love it! And my favorite color of bazzill these days...not quite black...and the rest of the Scenic "Boy" rubons. How much do you love the Doodle Bug Glitter Letter Stickers? They came out funky in the picture but I really love adding a little pizzaz to my boy pages. I unearthed that little frog punch. He was perfect to fill the space on my bright orange felt circle.

Meeting Oscar the Dog Dog
I have been working nearly non stop on Christmas Presents. I am glad that I started early! Everything takes twice as long when you have a toddler running around! But I really wanted to scrap today. So, I did this LO of C and my bro in Sept. I used the left over scraps from my brothers x-mas pres. (don't tell) so it is kind of random. The PP is Crate Paper and you know the rest.

Summer 2008
I did the LO at the Make N Take at Green T this summer with my mom and sis. My friend Raimi taught the class. She does a collage for each season. Such a smart way to scrap a lot of pictures! So now I am mostly caught up in my scrapbook! You will probably want to copy it for work. The 2nd page is just randomly squeezing in your pictures however they fit. The tag for journaling is pretty cute. a
Let me know if there are other websites you go to for ideas/inspiration we can post them on our side bar...fancy me!

My greatest achievement yet.....
Okay well the greatest in the sewing arena. I do admit my mom helped and gave me a little sewing 101 so I could later read and understand the pattern myself!
Inside view, it has two good sized pockets.
A side view, a pocket on each side.
The back view-it's kind of hard to see, but there is one big pocket on the back. I ended up really liking this pattern and it was nice the fabric was so thick. So now do you want one? Maybe next baby.

Lastly
Lastly which I just finished tonight because I am also going to make another kit out of it for work..and since I am working tomorrow, I needed to get it done! They are missionary pics of Jake if you can't tell and the paper I used was GCD Studios which I think is okay paper..not Studio 8 but well hey they can't all be. I used buttons, ribbon, and metro classic. So there you go...scraplift if you like. I have also been working on a diaper bag which has taken quite a bit of time but I am almost done and will take pics...you will definitely want one!
Here is what I Have done
Okay, okay so I have been busy too...but just lots of things going on. First, here are the three layouts I did over conference weekend.
This layout wasn't my best but hey I just used what I brought in my tote over to the Jenne's. I used Studio 8 Paper and mostly scraps and buttons. I finally scrapped the cousins. Sorry this isn't the best pic but it is 1:00 a.m.

I really can't take much credit for this layout because it was a packet from my work. I bought it to save myself some time especially since I had pictures that desperately needed to be scrapped from our jump on it day!
I did actually scrap this layout myself and thought it turned out pretty cute. It is also pretty simple because I am going to make a kit for work out of it. I used this new paper company from Australia that I really like called ....i can't remember but I will look it up. Cute stuff though. I used my font uptown girls lowercase.Friday, October 10, 2008
Busy Books For Christmas
Thursday, October 9, 2008
this took way to much time!
I kept on getting interrupted by the little man. I finally finished it this morning. I went a little crazy with the paint, so I covered it up with a scallop border from the pack of Just Edges we got from Bazzill this summer. My PP was the same from the other LO. And I didn't feel like cutting out letters, so I used a rub on from Scenic Route. Cutting the circles was not that scary. The nesting circles are awesome and made it easy! I hope you post some LOs soon. I only have two left to copy.

For Mom:
My mom wanted to see what I was doing with the 4x6 sheet protectors we got in June. I am not going to take pics of them each time as the point of one pagers is to get done in the kid's nap time. I won't do one for every one pager either for the same reason. So basically I print out more pics that didn't make it on the LO and then do a little fun decorative block and a big journal block. The nice part is I can get the LO done during nap time then do this part when C goes to be before N wants to do something together.
This worked great for our NJ trip because we took a lot of pictures and I wanted to journal a lot about it. So there you go mom...what I did with my 4x6 sheet protectors.

Parade-Look at me go
Once again I used remaining We R Memory Keepers paper and rubons. I also used various ribbons and arrows. I used metro classic once again as well. You asked how I made the scallop edges. Kinda funny because on one of the things I bought from the expo from Fancy Pants, the packaging had a scalloped edge all the way around it and so I saved it as a template. Tricky huh? But it is really easy to use which is nice. Don't worry you can use it at Thanksgiving!

funny, I did the same thing!
I did this LO while C was napping. He slept for so long today! I even got to watch TV and make some cards for my friend Jenny's B-day (they were cute, and I should have taken a picture, but I ran out of time!)
So, this is some random paper I found when I was cleaning out some stuff. It is Green TAngerines, but I don't think they make their own papers any more. I used this new cool Ranger Glossy Accents on the die cuts. It makes them look like epoxy stickers. It was the product for the first Designers Challenge. But this is not the project I am turning in. I am totally stumped on what to do. I totally love one pagers!
What I did today
Well after Sammy went to bed, I finished up this layout that I started earlier today. I used some of the remaining We R Memory keepers paper that I really just love. I also used some rubons that went with that paper. I used some new buttons and photo corners from American Crafts. I then used the revolution flower and little squeeze flowers along with fancy pants flowers. I used Metro classic, katie lowercase, and mini moxie. I was trying not to use Moxie but I ended up using it anyways-I can't stay away!
Scrapbook Expo
So last Fri. I went to the Scrapbook Expo with my mom in Sandy and it was awesome. There was so many good deals on things-you will have to go to one sometime! I bought paper for .10 to .20 and all sorts of embellishments-felt punchouts by Fancy Pants, rubons, ribbons, brads, buttons, flowers etc. for mostly less than a $1. Although, I spent way more than $1 from the day, I am definitely stocked for awhile which was good because I was running out of stuff. Anyhow, I did this layout later that night. I used MM sparkle clear flowers, scenic route old paper, felt flowers and rubons from Fancy Pants. I wished I could've got more done this weekend but I was mostly watching Sammy and Taylor Fri. night and Sat. At least I got one done! Another good reason for switching to one pagers!
